To warm up engines, this weekend, children can anticipate with the traditional Món Llibre literary festival , which this year is presented with a new format appropriate to the circumstances so that we live it as intensely as with maximum safety.

For this, six different circuits have been organized that last approximately one hour and a quarter and include two or three activities each, which can be a presentation with one of the invited authors, an activity by a publisher or a show inspired by magic. of libraries. For all of them you must make a prior reservation on the festival website choosing day and time.

Experiences at the CCCB
The red experience (Plaza Joan Coromines of the Center de Cultura Contemporania de Barcelona, ​​CCCB, at 11, 12, 16:30 and 18:00) consists of an activity proposed by a publisher that will vary according to the schedule (mostly, storytellers and drawings ). Later we will discover the show No hi havia una vegada , by the Les Lloronas company, with Iona Balcells, Anna Castell and Neus Gispert.

The three protagonists are the guardians of the Great Book of Stories, a volume that compiles popular tales and tries to explain them to the public. But the characters have fled leaving their things and it is impossible to remember them so they will use their imagination and play to create a new one.

In the Pati de les Dones of the CCCB the green experience will take place at 11, 12.30, 16, 17.30 and 19 hours. The activity will be, depending on the time, storytelling or book presentations in which music, performed live, will be of great importance.

Here we will also see the Universal Library, which has transformed the hall of the building into a very special library in which the author Joana Raspall will be the librarian. Through a dramaturgy, the books will come to life accompanied by projections , a soundtrack and the actors Montse Colomé, Francisco Lloberes, Mercedes Recaca and Joan Burgar.

From the Auditori to the Theater
If our favorite color is blue, we should go to the CCCB Auditorium (11am, 12.30pm, 4pm, 5.30pm and 7pm), where the activities are dedicated to children between 3 and 7 years old . In addition to the storytelling, theatrical or dramatized stories, we can visit a spectacular virtual library with audiovisuals by Marcel Bago and see Helen Oxenbury presents ‘Anem a caçar un ós’, a film presented and interpreted by Maria Ramírez and both with a script by Montse Ginesta.

It is based on the book by this English illustrator that explains the adventures of five brothers who take advantage of the fact that their parents are away to escape and walk through the countryside without fear of anything because they believe they are very brave.

To live the yellow experience, you have to go to the CCCB’s Teatre room (11:15, 12:45, 16:15, 17:45 and 19:15) designed for those over 7 years old. Here there will be games, dramatized shows and age-appropriate classics will be reviewed.

In this same space, a selection of short films entitled Saint-Exupéry i els seus amics will be seen. They have been made by various artists from the poems of various French poets. The event will be presented by the author of The Little Prince, played by José Pedro García, who will encourage children to read poems aloud.
